Illuminates the relevant warning light and controls the alarm buzzer.

Controls part of the charging system that operates the Alternator.  (if your alternator does not produce 14 Volts or it is working but the alarm is illuminating saying that it isn't, it could be this module).

Note the old style units use the Volvo Alarm Panel bulb 12 volt - 19923 or 24 volt - 828818 which can be bought separately.
