The new ACS (Attitude Control System) monitors the pitch, roll and speed of the vessel and then automatically adjusts the trim tab angle to bring the boat back to the optimum ridge angle. The Mente ACS will adapt to and work with all leading brands of trim tab including ElTrim, Bennett, Lenco.
Both the ACS R (roll) and the ACS RP (Roll Pitch) automatically adjust the boat to the optimum attitude in the roll axis, eliminating heeling. This is especially important for small and fast boats.
ACS RP automatically adjusts the boat to the optimum attitude in pitch and roll axis improving visibility and also enabling speeds in the "semi-planning" range. Owners of larger boats may find this particularly useful. It also gets the craft onto the plane quicker and more reliably without manual intervention.

Turning Detection
Automatic control is suspended while turning...
While making a turn, the boat leans inwards. Thanks to built-in solid state gyros, the system is able to detect heading changes and prevent automatic corrections while turning. Unnecessary adjusting is avoided and the boat exits the turn with optimum attitude. The AUTO indicator blinks while making the turn to indicate that the ACS is blocked and not active at that moment. Once set up on a steady course again, the ACS contnues measuring and correcting the attitude, taking the altered conditions into account.
